There are two types of fabrics for roller blinds, one is polyester fiber wrapped PVC, the other is glass fiber wrapped PVC. But no matter what kind of material the above two fabrics are, the consideration of light transmission performance is their common technical parameters: net void ratio（openness）. That is, the proportion of fabric mesh per unit area.
The fabrics of roller blinds are usually: 1%, 3%, 5%, 8%, 10%, and they are mainly used for different orientations and different functional requirements. If it is installed indoors, fabrics with the same mesh rate, dark fabrics have better light transmittance and perspective, and light-colored fabrics are the opposite; but if used outdoors, it is recommended to use aluminized layers or colors. Darker fabrics, aluminum-coated fabrics can reflect more heat, and dark fabrics themselves can absorb more heat.
Another difference between the above two fabrics is that the glass fiber can be stretched longer and thinner, that is to say, thinner and lighter roller blind fabrics can be woven, and the light transmittance of thin fabrics is better than Heavyweight fabric.
Of course, fabrics with a large mesh ratio can allow more visible light to enter the room, and its light transmittance is of course better than that of fabrics with a small mesh ratio.
Fabrics with 8% and 10% mesh ratios have strong light transmittance, but they are generally only used for decoration. It is very common to use 1%-5% fabrics in current office curtains. Solved the problem of electric glare
